William B. Richards, Dr. Peter A. Rosenbaum, who is also the new Chair of the CPIRF Scientific Advisory Council (SAC), and Lisa B. Baird were recently elected to the Board of Directors. Mr. Richards and Dr. Rosenbaum were elected at the 10/26/11 board meeting and Ms. Baird was elected at the following meeting held on 1/26/12. “These accomplished individuals have a focused commitment to advance our research mission. Most treatments for cerebral palsy (CP) are initially directed toward children. What is not clearly established is the long- term effects of such treatments.
