CPIRF Honorary Chairman, The Honorable Paul A. Volcker, former Chair of the Federal Reserve System, was honored today as the winner of the Second Economic Club of New York Award for Leadership Excellence. Richards and several other CPIRF board members were in attendance at the lunch in which Volcker received the award and addressed members of the New York Economic Club in the Grand Ballroom of the New York Hilton.
According to CPIRF Chairman William (Bill) B. Richards who succeeded Volcker as Chairman on the CPIRF Board within the past year, “Today in recognition of Chairman Volcker’s great service to our country and his leadership during difficult times, the Economic Club honors him. From all of us on the Board and all who work for CPIRF and the many that we serve —- Congratulations Chairman Volcker and Thank You.”
