Katy, I have fraternal twins boys – 13 months old – one was born with no issues and the other has just been diagnosed with Hemiplegic CP due to a brain bleed in utero (he has a VP Shunt too).

You are an inspiration and give my husband and I such hope for our son!

Katy,
I just read your blog on Teen CP.
For what it’s worth, even though we aren’t super close, YOU are an amazing young woman who has so much to offer this world. I know you are going to do great things with your life. Isn’t that exciting?
I do not know why God gives such difficult tasks for some to deal with, but as Mother Teresa said once, “I know God doesn’t give me anything I cannot handle, but I sure wish he wouldn’t trust me so much.”
